Cara Cepat Belajar Grammar Bahasa Inggris Dari NOL

Dari segenap grammar, yg paling mendasar adalah belajar tenses. Dasarnya, Tenses dalam bahasa inggris itu kebagi berdasarkan rentang waktu. Yaitu :

Present : Masa sekarang

Past : Masa lalu

Future : Masa depan

Jangan ruwet dulu, kita bahas pelan-pelan.

1. Simple Present Tense, namanya simple berarti ya emang simple. Tenses ini biasanya digunakan untuk menyatakan :

- Fakta

- Kebiasaan yg diulang (habit)

- Kejadian saat ini

- Kebenaran umum

Rumus yg digunakan sama tenses ini

I/you/They/We + V1 atau

She,he, it + V1 s/es

Contoh :

They Sleep / She Sleeps.

Negative : They don’t Sleep / She doesn’t Sleep.

Interrogative : Do they sleep? / Does she sleep?

2. Simple Past Tense. 

Tenses ini digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang terjadi sekali, atau berulang, ataupun kebiasaan di masa lalu.

Rumus yg digunakan sama tenses ini

I/you/They/We + V2 atau

She,he, it + V2

Contoh : They slept / She slept.

Negative : They didn’t sleep / She didn’t sleep

Interrogative : Did They sleep ? / Did she sleep ?

3. Simple future tense. 

Tenses ini biasanya digunakan saat :

- Menyatakan kejadian di masa depan

- Keputusan spontan

- Keputusan yg dibuat untuk masa depan

- Kesimpulan yg berhubungan dgn masa depan

- Menyatakan prediksi

Rumus yang digunakan tenses ini adalah

S + Will + V1 atau S+ to be + Going + to + V1

Contoh : You will win / He is going to watch TV

Negative : You will not win/ He isn’t going to watch tv

Interrogative : will you win? / is he going to watch TV ?

Coba ubah kalimat ini ke simple past tense dan future tense :

1. Harry Loves to play quidditch

2. Ginny Writes a diary

3. Hermione goes to Library.
